Yes, you read that correctly. CiCi's in a(n economic) promotion, is offering their eat-in buffet for $3.99 for a limited time only. According to Jim, at the CiCi's in Durham, the special will last for at least 60 days, and he isn't sure of an end date at the moment. They have pizza, pasta, salads, and wonderful dessert pizzas. Go try a plate full and maybe see The Food Monster out at CiCi's.
Yeah, looks like the closest ones are in the Las Vegas area, which has 3. If you aren't doing well at the tables, it should help the wallet. The pizza isn't amazing, but is pretty good for buffet pizza. Well worth the four bucks.
We tried Cici's for the first time last month. There was a coupon in the paper for one free buffet, so we thought we'd give it a shot. My two kids thought life couldn't possibly get any better, I thought it was okay - even a little better than okay for the price - but my husband doesn't want to go back (and he eats everything!). In my opinion, though, you can't beat that $3.99 price, though, especially for a family of four. Maybe I can entice DH to try it one more time...
Oh Food Monster, you are crazy!!! Back in the day, I remember the regular price of the Cici's Buffet was $2.99, and even at the tender age of 10, I was like, "How the hell can all of this food be just $3???" I don't understand how they make any money. I am guessing their ingredients are insanely cheap, and therefore, extremely bad for you!!!!!! But I do remember loving Cici's anyway because what kid doesn't love mounds of pizza? NOWADAYS, not so much....
I guess there is no bad pizza as a kid. Still, with inflation, I think the prices are up to $4.99 normally, so that's about a 20% decrease in price for the promotional period. Find a Cici's and enjoy!

I have heard of this place and that it is pretty good and with that price it would be worth a try. Wish we had one in our area!
